Solid English Eucalyptus Crook Stick Handle Blank

English eucalyptus wood is a good choice for walking stick handles. Eucalyptus is naturally strong and durable, making it suitable for structural projects, joinery, and furniture. It's natural oils make it resistant against rot or decay. 

Eucalyptus wood generally has a light to medium reddish-brown color, straight grain, and a smooth texture, making it attractive for furniture and other visible applications. 

All wood kiln, air dried or recycled. I cut a few blanks at a time. I look for grain and interesting patina.

Product Description
A crafted handle blank made from natural wood enabling the buyer to finish. Each handle is finished 'over sized' to allow for waste material to be removed and attach to a shank up to an inch and a quarter in thickness.

How to use
Simple tools and a bit of work will soon have your handle ready to fit to a suitable shank.

I recommend and use a traditional peg and socket joint. I do not recommend or use threaded rods. Wood is a natural material and should be allowed to move and flex. Using a threaded rod does not allow natural movement of the wood therefore is liable to cause breakout.
